Magnetic form factor of the deuteron in a quark-cluster model and the effect of quark internal motion
Description
The magnetic-dipole form factor of the deuteron is calculated in a quark-cluster model (QCM). Comparing it with that of the two-nucleon model which reproduces the QCM charge form factors, we examine the effects due to quark internal motion. Sizeable effects are found in the high-momentum-transfer region, q>4 fm-1. (orig.)
