Description

Effect of microstructure of two-phase titanium alloys on their mechanical properties is under study. Emphases are placed upon such important characteristics as endurance and fracture toughness. Mechanisms of crack formation and propagation are analyzed in detail both in cases of static and cyclic loading. An interpretation of a link between properties of two-phase titanium alloys and their microstructure is given on the base of this analysis
