Experts without frontiers: Building expertise for the transfer of nuclear technologies

Over the last decade, the IAEA has planned and carried out nearly 18,000 expert assignments within the framework of its technical co-operation programme. The programme functions as the turnable for the transfer of nuclear technology to the developing world, assisting countries in achieving self reliance for the many applications of nuclear science and technology. The transfer of nuclear technology is more than the generation of energy in nuclear power plants.
