Annealing effects on the critical current density of zone melt textured YBa2Cu3O6+x
Description
Oxygen content of YBa2Cu3O6+x is critical to the properties of the material. Magnetization, critical current density and flux pinning energy have been studied as a function of oxygen annealing after zone melt texturing. Results indicate that extended oxygen annealing of textured samples is detrimental to their magnetization and transport properties. A model is proposed to explain these observations
