Are strange baryons non-spherical?

Description

We calculate the distribution of baryon number for the ground state hyperons. Strange baryons are described as bound kaon-skyrmion systems. A striking consequence of the model is the non-sphericity of baryonic density for strange baryons. 7 refs. (author)
