Characterisation of granitic phases and associated igneous suites to assess their potentiality for uranium mineralisation in the northern part of Cuddapah basin

In the process of working towards energy independence there is a need to investigate in detail the extension areas of present occurrences an also identify potential areas of mineralisation with similar geological conditions elsewhere. Therefore, a judicious and pragmatic path of geoscientific investigation is envisaged to understand the nature of mineralisatin of uranium particularly in the unconformity proximal deposits, as it accounts for more than 35% of the total uranium resources.
