Aging management program for IPR-R1 Triga Reactor

Description

Aging management of systems, structures and components has become an essential activity considering both safety and economic aspects. This work describes the steps to be followed to implement an aging management program for the research TRIGA IPR-R1. It also presents the result of a preliminary phase of the program in which the main systems, structures and components of the reactor are categorized according the importance to safety and ease of replacement. For each system, structure of component, the potential aging mechanisms are listed. (author)
