Investigation of the surface ionization effect by measurement of the ion current fluctuation
Description
A mass spectrometric study of the surface ionization and thermal desorption kinetics of EU+ and Li+ ions on polycristalline tungsten are reported. The fluctuation (nois) method for these measurements was used. The behaviour of the probability density function, spectral density function and autocorrelation functions for Eu+ and Li+ ion current noise were investigated for clean and oxidized tungsten. 6 refs.; 5 figs.; 1 table
