Description
The 50V(α, d)52Cr reactions has been studied at 14 MeV. The analysis of the experimental results suggests that the reaction proceeds through compound-nucleus mechanism. The Hauser-Feshbach theory reproduces fairly well the experimental integrated cross-sections confirming that the 52Cr level at 4.75 MeV excitation-energy is consistent with a spin assignment Jsup(π)=8+
