Process for embedding radioactive metal waste containing tritium
Description
The pieces of fuel element cans, pieces of spacers and internal parts are placed in profile tubes made of high quality steel or aluminium as containment, and are cold formed by rolling or pressing. The product compacted in this way is changed to a shape suitable for compact storage by rolling and is placed in concrete barrels for concreting it. (DG)

Die BE-Rohrstuecke, Abstandshalterstuecke und Innenteile werden in Profilrohre aus Edelstahl oder Aluminium als Containment gegeben und durch Walzen oder Druecken kaltverformt. Das derart kompaktierte Produkt kann durch Auswalzen in zur Kompaktlagerung geeignete Form ueberfuehrt oder in Beton-Faesser zum Einbetonieren gestellt werden. (DG)Files
