Study of catalytic activity of technetium catalysts on support

  • 1. AN SSSR, Moscow. Inst. Fizicheskoj Khimii

Description

A possibility of activated carbon use as a support has been studied to obtain highly active technetium catalysts of NH3 synthesis. It is found out that specific interaction of metal-support in the process of ammonia synthesis is absent. It is noted that a sample with 15.5% 99Tc content provides a maximum of specific catalytic activity. It is shown that catalysts on support are of higher specific catalytic activity in comparison with metal, and 99Tc/activated carbon catalyst is more active than 99Tc/γ-Al2O3
