Neutron gas of a degenerate superdense star with frozen-in magnetic field

  • 1. Brestskij Gosudarstvennyj Pedagogicheskij Inst., Brest (Byelorussian SSR)

Description

Filling energy subzones of the degenerate nonrelativistic neutron gas of a superdense star is calculated in dependence on the intensity of the magnetic field. It is shown, that with an increase of magnetic field intensity the Fermi kinetic energy of degenerate gas increases to the limit, to which corresponds the filling with neutrons of all the magnetic states with magnetic moments parallel to the direction of the magnetic field
