Measurement of ion energy spectra in MM-4 fusion device

Description

The ion temperature and plasma potential were measured by multi-grid energy analyzer in an electrostatic plugging cusp system MM-4. The results show that the plasma potential is -178 eV, and there are two ion temperatures in the plasma, typical values are 80 eV and 140 eV respectively. The obtained result is slightly different from others. The possible functions formed two ion temperatures are discussed
