Molecular resonances in the high energy 12C--12C scattering: analysis by a band crossing model
Description
Previously, it was shown that characteristic features of resonances in high energy 12C--12C reactions can be explained by a band crossing model. The coupling of 3- inelastic channel is included, and the validity of the model is verified. The calculated band crossing diagram, the result of a coupled-channel calculation in which elastic, single, and mutual excitations of 2+ state and 3- excitation are included, the potential parameters, and the inelastic cross sections are presented. 6 references
