Description
The dynamic esophageal scintigraphy was performed in 48 patients with reflux esophagitis and 26 healthy volunteers. A 'condensed image' of the dynamic study was synthesized. The transit times of the distal, middle, proximal third and the total esophagus are significantly prolonged in the patients with reflux esophagitis. The dynamic esophageal scintigraphy is a noninvasive, easy to perform, radionuclide method to evaluate transport function of the esophagus. (author)
