Investigation of interaction of rare earth ions with 3-allylpentanedione in aqua-dioxane media by the method of potentiometry

Description
Interaction of La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Dy, Er, Ho, Yb, Lu ions with 3-allylpentanedione (HL) is investigated by the method of pH-metric titration in aqua-dioxane media. Stability constants of LnL2+, LnL22+ and pH regions, whereof these complexes form, are determined. Stability constants dependence on order number of element shows that the strength of the complexes increases with decrease of Ln3+ ion size with characteristic sharp curve on gadolinium ion
Abstract (Russian)
Методом pH-метрического титрования исследовано взаимодействие ионов La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Dy, Er, Ho, Yb, Lu с 3-аллилпентандионом (HL) в водно-диоксановой среде. Определены константы устойчивости комплексов LnL2+, LnL22+ и области pH, в которых преимущественно образуются эти соединения. Зависимость констант устойчивости от порядкового номера элемента показывает, что прочность комплексов возрастает при уменьшении размера иона Ln3+ с характерным изломом на ионе гадолинияAdditional details
