Description
Co-deposition of Cu-Zn thin film alloys on mild steel has been studied by using sulphate bath with small amount of additives by using direct current electrolysis. The alloys were analyzed by atomic absorption, spectroscopy (AAS) and the surface morphology of some samples was studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The conditions were optimized for smooth and adherent surfaces. Smooth surface coating was obtained by optimum concentration of NH/sub 4/CI and Na/sub 2/SO/sub 4/ and the change in color occur due to change in the concentration of Urea. (author)
