Description
This paper summarizes key aspects of neoclassical transport phenomena, including the derivation of the drift kinetic equation, which forms the foundation of neoclassical transport theory, the derivation of the neoclassical transport equation, momentum balance, and the determination of the ambipolar radial electric field. Additionally, differences between neoclassical transport theory and gyrokinetics are also reviewed. (J.P.N.)
