Study of DNA structural mutation induced by heavy charged particles in malignant cells and normal epithelial cell lines

Description
We evaluated DNA damages and RNA expressions in malignant tumor cells and normal epithelial cell lines which were irradiated by X-ray and heavy charged particles. As a result, the variety of DNA damages and RNA expressions were detected in several cell lines irradiated by several radiations. These results may support the outcome of clinical trials in heavy charged particles. (author)
