Neutrino production of like-sign dimuons
Description
We present a preliminary measurement of like-sign dimuon production in neutrino interactions at energies up to 600 GeV from the CCFR collaboration at Fermilab. We find 102 neutrino induced like-sign dimuons with muon momenta above 9 GeV/c. A detailed calculation of conventional backgrounds yields 89 ± 13 events with kinematics indistinguishable from the data. We see no convincing indication of new physical processes
