Description

Device for plasma confinement, containing a number of moduli, connected in series, is described. In order to increase stability of high-pressure plasma, each modulus is composed of solenoid and quadrupolar coil. Polarity of quadrupolar coil alternates from one modulus to another, and longitudinal solenoid field and transverse field of quadrupolar coils are related by the relation, containing mirror relation and ellipticity of magnetic surface. 3 figs
