Looking back on my experiences with steam generator maintenance and secondary side water chemistry control of PWR power plants
Description
In Japan, PWR power plants have operated almost for thirty-five years since their first introduction and experienced much damages on one of the main components, a steam generator (SG). Looking back my past experiences how to lead to a more reliable SG was described as follows: (1) causes of initial SG tube failures and measures to mitigate corrosion, (2) ingenious requirements of corrosion management of SG, of which philosophy is against that of existing power boilers and (3) design and water chemistry control improvements as well as tube materials modifications. Repair technologies for tube's integrity and replacements of a tube failure continued SG with a modified SG were also described as well as measures to maintain current attained good operation of SG for a long time. 国内の加圧水型原子力発電所が運転を始めてから約35年が経過し、その間、主要機器である蒸気発生器に多くの損傷を経験した。今までの経験を振り返って、(1)初期の蒸気発生器伝熱管の損傷原因究明からそれらを基にした腐食抑制対策、(2)従来の火力ボイラからの思想が逆転している蒸気発生器に対して腐食防止の観点から工夫すべき要件、および(3)設計面、水質管理技術の改善および伝熱管材料の技術改良による、より信頼性の高い蒸気発生器に至る過程について述べた。また、伝熱管の健全性確保のための補修技術、損傷が継続する蒸気発生器を改良された最新のものへの取替えについて解説し、現在の良好な運転実績を長期にわたって維持するための方策についても考えの一端を述べた。(日本)Additional details
