Gross beta, gross alpha radioactivities and radium-226 in fresh water from various water resources in Thailand
Description
This is a progress report of the first three years of study from January, 1978 to January, 1981. The objective of this study is to ascertain the value of gross alpha, gross beta radioactivities and the content of radium-226 in water from various parts of Thailand. Then, the baseline level of radioactivity in water will be established. Besides, the Thai Industrial Standards Institute, the Ministry of Industry will utilize these values for establishing the standard maximum permissible concentration of radioactivity in drinking water adding to the physical and chemical standards that already cited
