Device for level and depth measurements
Description
This invention is aimed at a device for level and depth measurements of flowable media in tanks or bore holes. A capsular radiation source is applied as floating or buoyant body being located in a guide tube open on both sides. In front of the capsular radiation source and vertical to the flowable medium surface there is a radiation detector in order to register the intensity dependent on distance. The detector is protected against incident natural radioactivity
