Description
To evaluate the ability of multi-detector row helical CT to demonstrate the accessory left gastric artery, we diagnosed existence of the accessory left gastric artery on 6-mm and 1-mm reconstructed CT in 30 patients. Paging-mode displays using 1-mm images accurately revealed the accessory left gastric artery in 6 patients (20%), more frequent than previous reports. (author)
