Study of 24Mg (p, γ)25Al resonance reaction at lab energy Elabp = 223 keV
- 1. Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur (India)
- 2. Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, Homi Bhabha National Institute, Kolkata (India)
Description
The observations of Globular cluster M13 redgiants indicate that the abundance of Mg+Al is approximately constant whereas simultaneously those exhibit large variations in Al. Motivation of the present work was to evaluate the life-time of the Ex = 2485 keV level of 25Al with a better accuracy using Doppler Shift Attenuation Method (DSAM)
