Description
In a patient who had undergone nephrectomy for hypernephroma 15 years prior to admission for haematemesis, CT of the pancreas, angiography of the splenic vessels, and a double-contrast upper gastrointestinal series were carried out. A hypervascular pancreatic region, obstructions of the splenic vein, and some varices involving the stomach and duodenum were found. At surgery, a biopsy revealed metastatic hypernephroma. (APR)
Abstract (German)
Bei vor 15 Jahren wegen Hypernephrom nehphrektomierten Patienten mit Haematemesis wurden eine Pankreas-CT, eine Angiographie der Milzgefaesse und eine Doppelkontrastmitteluntersuchung der Magen-Darm-Passage durchgefuehrt. Ein hypervaskulaerer Bereich im Pankreas, Obstruktion der Milzvene sowie Varizen im Magen und Duodenum wurden gefunden. Die Biopsie waehrend der Operation hat das Gewebe als ein Hypernephrom identifiziert. Und damit wurde ein Fall von einem metastasierenden Hypernehprom gezeigt. (APR)Additional details
