Radiological problems foreseen in fusion reactors
Description
The degree of development reached up to now in the fusion nuclear technology does not allow to foresee with accuracy the design of future nuclear fusion installations, but given the knowledge of the physical and chemical principles of the process involved, it is possilbe to imagine the major radiological problems associated with this form of power generation. This paper is an overview study of the present state of the art in this matter with regard to the tritium inventory and occupational and environmental impact, activation products and waste management.
