SIMTAPEFFEKT: A model/tool for planning of distributed generation in the local transmission system

Description

In Norway, as in the other Nordic countries, issues related to the availability of electric power, as well as to the energy balance, have become more important. This is partly due to the increase in power demand, while at the same time introduction of new power production is harder to obtain. Some of these issues are: (1) The lack of electric power capacity can give increasing fluctuations in power prices, (2) Increased focus on rehabilitation, and in investment in increases in electric power capacity, (3) Domestic as well as international development of new concepts for distributed power production and for application of gas-resources
