Description

New photoeletric data of the ultrashort-period variable AM CVn obtained in 1980 were analysed in order to determine minima of the approx. 17.5 min light variation and to look for short-periodic oscillations. Using the new minima we derived a mean period of 1051.19+-0.01 s. We have not found clear evidence for the presence of longlived coherent oscillations above 0.001 mag in the range 0.002-0.04 Hz.
