Comprehensive personnel dosimetry film case and experience with its in-service use at Dukovany nuclear power plant

Description
The history and the present state of the applications of film and thermoluminescence dosemeters in the world and in Czechoslovakia are briefly surveyed. Gamma- and neutron distribution in the Czechoslovak nuclear power plants is reported and assessed from the point of view of personnel dosimetry and of requirements for counting. A new combined badge type film case for personnel dosimetry in nuclear power plants are described as well as measurement and evaluation of dose equivalents and of the computer program. The dosemeters and methods were tested by laboratory irradiation and in actual use at the Dukovany nuclear power plant. (author). 10 figs., 5 tabs., 18 refs
