Description
Significant rservations must be made when considering the absolute value of figures quoted for regional myocardial blood flow measured by the uptake of potassium. Nevertheless, preliminary results indicate that with appropriate corrections and image processing methods, it does appear to provide a satisfactory non-invasive quantitative method of assessing the results of coronary by-pass surgery. Abstract (German)
Bei der Betrachtung des Absolutwertes von Zahlen fuer die aus der Kaliumaufnahme bestimmte regionale Durchblutung des Herzens ist eine Reihe von Vorbehalten angemessen. Dennoch lassen die bisher vorliegenden Ergebnisse vermuten, dass dieses Verfahren nach entsprechenden Korrekturen und bei richtiger Bildverarbeitung eine zufriedenstellende, nicht-invasive quantitative Methode zur Beurteilung der Ergebnisse von Bypass-Eingriffen an den Koronargefaessen liefern wird.
