Electron beam generation with plasma focus

Description
The results of electron beam generations (ν/γ approximatelly 0.5, peak current of 1-10 A) by a low voltage (16 KV), low energy (6 KJ) Mather type plasma focus are presented for D2, H2 and He. Pulse multiplicity (1-10) with a time duration up to 800 us is found, showing the existence of remaining activity in the plasma, after the current sheath coolapse, capable of sustaining fast energy release. Apresentam-se os resultados da geracao de feixe de eletrons (ν, γ aproximadamente 0.5, corrente de pico de 1-10 A) por uma baixa voltagem (16 KV), baixa energia foco de plasma do tipo Mather para D2, H2 e He. Encontra-se a multiplicidade de pulso (1-10) com uma duracao temporal ate 800 ns, mostrando a existencia de uma atividade residual no plasma, apos o colapso da corrente de envelope, capaz de sustentar a liberacao rapida de energia.
