Waste incinerator
Description
The device refers to incinerators, especially for radioactive waste. In order to be sure that all waste gases are burnt without polluting the environment, the incinerator which is equipped with a pre- and an after-burning-chamber should have the following characteristics: a) Conducting devices divide up the after-burning chamber; b) openings for fresh air are provided on these devices; c) in the (escape) flue room there are filters arranged in front of the flue. Thus a complete burning is achieved with only very little ash. (UWI)

Um sicher zu sein, dass alle Abgase verbrannt werden und die Umwelt nicht verschmutzen, wird bei einem Verbrennungsofen fuer Abfaelle, insbesondere fuer radioaktive Abfaelle, der mit einer Hauptverbrennkammer und einer Nachbrennkammer ausgestattet ist, erfindungsgemaess die Kombination folgender Merkmale gefordert: a) Leitvorrichtungen unterteilen die Nachbrennkammer; b) an ihnen sind Frischluftzufuehroeffnungen vorgesehen; c) im Abzugraum sind vor dem Rauchabzug Filter angeordnet. Man erreicht so eine vollstaendigere Verbrennung und Asche wird zurueckgehalten. (UWI)Files
