Test of SEC (Secondary-electron Emission Chamber)
Creators
- 1. National Inst. of Radiological Sciences, Chiba (Japan)
Description
Two sets of SEC of the same structure with different thickness of Al foils were tested by using 135 MeV/u heavy ion beams, C6+ and Ne10+. The SEC in the HIMAC for other heavy ion beams of different energies is designed based on the output charge which can be estimated from this experimental result. (author)
