Description
The effect of hardening from intercritical temperature range upon fatigue strength of structural steel 35KhNV is studied. The tests have been conducted according to the scheme of transverse bending of inmobile sample. It is established that after such hardening the values of endurance limit of the 35KhNV steel samples are lower and of the coefficient of sensitivity to stress concentrations is higher than after conventional heat treatment. It might be conditioned by the presence in steel structure after hardening from intercrystalline temperature range of sections of fine needle-type ferrite
