Investigation into hydrotriethylamine and hydropyridine hexachlorocerates

Description
Thermal, thermogravimetric, chemical, X-ray and infrared spectroscopic analyses were used in studying the thermal decomposition of hexachlorocerates of hydrotriethylamine and hydropyridine. First, a chlorine atom is detached from the first compound, then two molecules of pyridine hydrochloride from the second compound. The temperature of chlorine detachment and residual pressure have been found to be related. The values of the Gibbs, enthalpy and entropy energies of this reaction have been calculated. The cubic lattice parameters of the starting compounds have been found. Their solubility in ethanol has been determined
