Consideration of radiation exposure
Description
Japan was severely damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred on 11 March 2011. As public concerns increased, harmful rumors and the rejection of radiological procedures were reported. In this situation, it is important for us to understand the doses and risks of radiation exposure, and the system of radiation protection. Outlines on issues including medical radiation exposures and problems in Fukushima are presented below. (author)
