A method and experiments for measuring the analysing power of nuclei in elastic scattering of neutrons in the range 15-18 MeV

Description
A scintillation detector, rotating around an axis passing through the target and the sample, is used to detect neutrons scattered to the left and to the right. The analyzing power of 12C nuclei has been measured using this method, for scattering angles of 37 grad C and 47 grad C and neutron energy of 16,3 MeV. The results obtained are in good agreement with the measurements of other authors
