Effects of higher approximetions in the nuclear deformation parameters in elastic scattering of heavy ions
Description
Effects of the nuclear mechanism of virtual excitations of collective degrees of freedom are investigated for the elastic scattering of nuclei in the intermediate energy range. The analysis is performed in framework of the diffractional approach combined with the adiabatic approximation for description of collective nucleon motions in the colliding nuclei. The elastic scattering cross sections are calculated with account of contributions from all the approximation orders in the deformation parameters of the nuclear surface
