The author describes the authors' understanding of limited values of gross α and gross β activities in <> (GB 5749-85), and some problems in executing this Standard, and discusses how to establish and amend present standard for drinking water with principles related to natural radiation exposure and public exposure in ICRP-60 and IBSS
