Nucleon decay of 12C + 12C and 12C + 16O: Resonances or statistical fluctuations
Description
First I present selected excitation fucntions for the nucleon decay of 12C + 12C and 12C + 16O in the range of Esub(c)sub(m) = 11-20 MeV, a comparison with Hauser-Feshbach calculations and a statistical fluctuation analysis. Second I discuss the molecular band of 12C + 12C in view of our new results, third give some new results concerning the Esub(c)sub(m) = 19.7 MeV resonance in 12C + 16O and higher incident energies, fourth discuss the origin of the strong selectivity at Esub(c)sub(m) = 19.3 and 19.7 MeV in the 12C + 12C and 12C + 16O system, respectively.
