Description
CT has been widely used in the preoperative diagnosis and postoperative follow-up of children with congenital heart disease (CHD). It can not only clearly show the abnormal structures, but also quantitatively analyze the function and myocardial tissue characteristics, evaluate the ventricular systolic and diastolic function. This paper reviews the technical advantages of cardiac CT and its application in the assessment of cardiac function in CHD, introduces the hot spots and the prospects of cardiac CT technology, such as myocardial strain, myocardial perfusion, myocardial delayed enhancement, and extracellular volume.
