EhLV-1 electron accelerator for commercial application

A network and operating principle are given of an ELV-1 electrostatic electron accelerator intented for wide commercial application in national economy as a powerful source of radiation. The accelerator comprises a high-voltage generator, accelerating tube, system of electron beam extraction into the atmosphere. The generator with the accelerating tube is enclosed in a vessel filled with SF6 gas. Electrons are accelerated in the range of 400-1000 keV. Electron beam power is 20 kW.
