Static calculations of heavy ion-heavy ion potentials

Description
The principles of a static calculation of heavy ion potential energy curves are briefly presented. The problems of the interpretation of these curves are discussed. The static method is compared to that of time dependent Hartree-Fock (adiabatic or not). The numerical methods used in heavy ion potential calculations are also presented and some results obtained within the slow and sudden approximations are discussed
Abstract (French)
On enonce brievement les principes d'un calcul statique des courbes d'energie potentielle d'interaction entre ions lourds. Les problemes lies a l'interpretation de ces courbes sont discutes. Ensuite, la methode statique est comparee aux methodes du type Hartree-Fock dependant du temps (adiabatique ou non). On presente aussi les methodes numeriques effectivement utilisees pour le calcul des potentiels entre ions lourds et on discute quelques resultats obtenus dans le cadre des approximations lente et soudaineAdditional details
