Initial analysis on the design and operation reliability assurance program for nuclear power plant

Description

The reliability assurance program has been used widely in advanced light water reactor nuclear power plant in international in recent years. The major target of the reliability assurance program is to ensure the nuclear power plant achieves the highest levels of safety, reliability and economy. The reliability assurance program includes design reliability assurance program (D-RAP) and operation reliability assurance (O-RAP). The difference between D-RAP and O-RAP will be discussed in this paper. It will include the difference of the information source and the major target between the D-RAP and O-RAP. (authors)
