Description
The diagnostic information derived by computer tomography in malignant tumours of the larynx has been evaluated in 23 cases. The direct demonstration of the tumour and its relationships and of regional lymph nodes permits accurate staging of the tumour by this non-invasive method. This pre-treatment information cannot be obtained as completely by traditional methods. (orig.)

Die diagnostische Information der Computertomographie bei malignen Neoplasien des Larynx wird anhand 23 eigener Beobachtungen eroertert. Durch die direkte computertomographische Darstellung des Tumors und seiner Nachbarschaftsbeziehung sowie der regionaeren Lymphknotenstationen ermoeglicht diese nichtinvasive Untersuchungsmethode eine exakte Stadieneinteilung des Tumors, d.h. praetherapeutische Daten, die mittels traditioneller radiologischer Untersuchungsverfahren in dieser Vollstaendigkeit nicht erhaeltlich sind.
