Theory of semiconductor heterostructures - Many-body and interface effects
Description
A brief review is given on recent attempts to understand electronic properties of semiconductor heterostructures from a theoretical point of view. Special emphasis are given on many-body effects such as, screening, exchange and correlation, and also on effects of interface boundary conditions. (author)

Apresenta-se uma breve revisao sobre os recentes empreendimentos para compreender as propriedades eletronicas de heteroestruturas semicondutoras do ponto de vista teorico.
