Associative production of particles with a large transverse momentum in 12C-181Ta interactions at P=4,2 GeV/c per nuclei

Description

In 12C-181Ta interactions with carbon primary momentum of 4.2 GeV/c per nucleon the emission of energetic particles in the direction along the particle with a high transverse momentum psub(t) >-- 1 GeV/c production is observed. The investigation has been performed with the help of the 2-meter propane bubble chamber with an internal tantalum target. The experimental distribution over the difference between azimuthal angles of a particle with a high Psub(t) and other particles also points to the kinematical compensation of fast particle emission in nucleus-nucleus collisions. The comparison of experimental data with cascade model predictions was made
