Description
With the introduction of SI units, the use of the special unit of exposure in radiology, the Roentgen, will be discontinued in 1985. Alternatives which can be used in teaching are proposed and their uses illustrated with practical examples, i.e. for sealed source (mould, interstitial, intracavity) therapy calculations; protection (sealed source) calculations; and unsealed source calculations.
